Picnic Basket big "Hummel 1946"
The world-famous Hummel figures are based on drawings by a Franciscan woman from Sießen. Sr. M. Innocentia was born in 1909 in Massing, Lower Bavaria, as Berta Hummel. After studying art in Munich, she joined the Franciscan monastery of Sießen in 1931, where she lived and worked until her early death in 1946. "I just want to make you happy," wrote the artist. In this sense it continues to work today - also on our porcelain.
Our porcelain collection consists of many different shapes and designs. Careful workmanship and detailed decals gives our porcelain that special Reutter look.
All our gold decorated porcelain pieces are hand painted in 24k and fired in a kiln up to three times at 800°C (1470°F). You will receive our porcelain in premium gift boxes.
