Advent calendar "Erfurt"
Erfurt is the state capital of Thuringia. The Erfurt Cathedral St. Marien together with the church St. Severinkirche form the landmark of the medieval city of Erfurt. The largest free-swinging medieval bell in the world with the sonorous name "Gloriosa" rings in the tower of St. Mary's Cathedral. The city of Erfurt is considered the largest heritage area in Germany. On the cathedral square at the foot of the Erfurt Cathedral there is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany. The city located in the center of Germany attracts thousands of tourists in all seasons.
The lovingly designed pictures behind the doors of this advent calendar could actually be part of the picture and awaken childhood memories. The shapes of the doors fit into the architecture in such a way that the overall picture is retained, even when all the doors are open.
