Adventskalender "Lubeck"
The Trave circles the Lubeck old town, which thus becomes an island. Lubeck is a unique ensemble of medieval architecture and the gable houses and brick Gothic, typical of the north of Germany, are particularly diverse in Lubeck. This prompted UNESCO in 1987 to declare the entire Lübeck old town island a World Heritage Site. The most famous building in Lubeck is probably the "Holstentor".
The seven towers of the Jakobikirche, St. Mary's Church, St. Peter's Church, Aegidienkirche and the cathedral are also symbols of the Hanseatic city of Lubeck. And who likes to nibble during the Advent season, knows the Lubeck marzipan as a fine sweet in many variants. Our advent calendar of Lubeck, with probably the most beautiful view of gable houses, gives an idea of the magical flair of Lubeck.
