2289 - Advent calendar "Neuschwanstein"
Advent calendar "Neuschwanstein"
The castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria is one of the most important tourist destinations in Germany. King Ludwig II had the castle built above Hohenschwangau near Füssen. The construction began in 1869 and was not completed, as the Bavarian king Ludwig II, also called fairy tale king, died before its completion. The Bavarian fairytale castle bears his name "Neuschwanstein" since 1886.
Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit Neuschwanstein Castle every year. There may not be missing an advent calendar with the fairytale castle in the assortment of Brück & Sohn. The carefully fitted windows show many small pictures with things that belong to a castle. Even Christmas surprises are not missing.
