Mini Advent calendar "Berlin Palace"

What would Germany's capital Berlin be without its city palace? In old Berlin, the Berlin City Palace was the center of the city at the end of the boulevard "Unter den Linden". The Berlin Palace was built in the 15th century by the Margraves and Princes of Brandenburg as a residential castle. From 1702 it was royal Prussian residence and from 1871 imperial residence. In the 17th century the master builder Andreas Schlüter built the Berlin City Palace into one of the most important baroque castles in the world. During World War II, the Berlin City Palace was partially destroyed and demolished by the GDR government.

Berlin decided to build a new palace and started in 2013. The Baroque faade is again true to the original in Baroque style. The interior of the Berlin City Palace will house the Humboldt Forum. This Advent calendar greeting card with the historic Berlin City Palace is ideally suited to send Advent greetings to friends all over the world, so that everyone learns that the Berlin City Palace will shine again soon in full splendor. Behind the windows there are little pictures of Christmas as well as typical regional motifs.
