The enchanting half-timbered facade and the more than 500-year-old council chamber of the historic town hall in Wernigerode invites you to join in at this wonderful ambience. In the 16th century, the Wernigerode town hall was rebuilt from a playhouse to a town hall and since then has undergone many other conversions, additions and embellishments.
Wernigerode is a sightseeing town and worth seeing, in the Harz region at the foot of the Mountain Brocken. The half-timbered houses typical for this region can be found here in beautiful designs.
