Designer Jörg Langkop took his inspiration for the design from large-pored lava rock, because nature still provides the simplest and best ideas. The different sized openings are designed for different pen diameters. A grid in the base ensures that the pens stand upright. Brushes can also be placed here for short periods of time without making a mess.
